Hay Barn is a listing board and information tool for hay buyers and sellers. It lets farmers track their hay, see market prices, and post hay for sale. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Hay Barn only connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any sale, purchase, delivery, or payment. We do not buy, sell, inspect, store, deliver, or guarantee any hay. Any deal you make is strictly between you and the other person. We are not responsible for the quality, weight, condition, delivery, payment, or honesty of any listing or any user. Inspect hay and confirm terms yourself before money changes hands.
The price ranges, market figures, surge flags, and value estimates on this site are guidance only, built from public auction reports and general market data. They are not a guaranteed price, an appraisal, or a promise of what your hay will sell for. Real prices depend on quality, timing, location, demand, and your own negotiation. Do not rely on these figures as the sole basis for a financial decision.
You are responsible for everything posted from your account, including listings, photos, descriptions, contact information, and notes. You agree that everything you post is true, that you have the right to sell what you list, and that you have the right to post any photo you upload. Do not post anything false, misleading, stolen, or that you do not own.
You agree not to post or upload:
One photo is allowed per listing. A clear photo of your forage test sheet is recommended; it is the strongest proof of quality.
We may remove any listing, photo, or content, and may suspend or permanently block any account, at our discretion, with or without notice. Any profanity, inappropriate photo, or violation of these rules may result in immediate content removal and a permanent account block, pending review. If your account is blocked and you believe it was a mistake, you may contact us for review.
If you mark hay as certified organic or post test results, you are representing that those claims are true and that you hold the certification or test referenced. Buyers should ask for documentation. Hay Barn does not verify organic certifications or lab results.
The site is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the site will always be available, accurate, or error-free.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hay Barn and its operator are not liable for any loss, damage, dispute, or cost arising from your use of the site, any transaction between users, or any reliance on information or estimates provided here.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
